Great Effort From Chard Rugby Club Last Night
Thank you to Chard Rugby Club for a fantastic fitness session last night. Its always a pleasure when the whole team puts 100 % effort in to all drills.
A mixture of individual, paired and team activities ensured that the competitive spirit remained high and maybe helped mask the effort that they were putting in.
Following a dynamic warm up the game of knee taps was both tiring and competitive, then some resistance sprints and jumps worked on running mechanic’s as well as developing speed.
Hop and stop is always a tester for leg strength and stability but great conditioning exercise, and to finish some hard but sport specific sprint intervals.
A really enjoyable session to coach and good luck to them for the rest of the season.
