Paralympian meets Foundation Degree Students
Foundation Degree students at Richard Huish College had the opportunity to hear the inspirational story of Lucy Shuker, the London 2012 Wheelchair tennis bronze medallist.
The Sports Development and Coaching students heard how Lucy’s motorbike accident resulted in her being wheelchair bound, her rise to the top of the world of wheelchair tennis and the training involved to get there.
The students had an opportunity to hold her medal and ask questions about her Paralympic experience.
