This card sums up very well how many clients can feel about life when I turn up for their session!

There is increasing research into the positive impact of exercise on the menopause.

Everyone is an individual and needs to do what suits them best but some general benefits can include:

– increased risk of poor heart health due to lower oestrogen levels can be improved by cardiovascular exercise
-Resistance exercises increase bone health
– exercise improves sleep
-Hormone release improves and anxiety decreases
– many other menopausal symptoms can be reduced

With that in mind here is some general training advice:
Try to …

-Strength train 2x per week
-Add in some Cardiovascular training – steady bouts of 20-30 minutes or quick bursts like HITT training
-Improve your mobility – warm up/down, stretching or yoga activities
-Keep active-walk or cycle, reduce sedentary activity

If you are unsure what training would suit you best, please message me
