World Mental Health Day
Today is World Mental Health Day.
Physical activity and exercise is proven to help a variety of mental health issues. This could be as simple as a release of feel good hormones, to a change of body shape and increased self esteem.
Over many years I have seen the benefits of exercise on mental health. The most important thing is to talk to someone, this could be a health professional or a close friend. You could always exercise with your friend.
This could be from something simple such as a walk to a structured programme tailored to your goals.
The important thing is to do what you feel comfortable doing.
